The 54th International Congress on Medieval Studies is fast approaching and I would like to remind you that you are all invited to join us at our annual IMANA banquet.
As you may know, all Iberianists are automatically members of IMANA (Ibero Medieval Association of North America) and cordially invited to the annual banquet. This year’s IMANA banquet will be held on Friday, May 10, at 7:30 p.m. at the Fetzer Center (room 1055). As usual, there will be a cash bar at the Fetzer lobby starting at 6:30 p.m.
If you wish to join us, please see the attached “Banquet Menu” and “Reservation Form” and send me the completed “Reservation Form,” indicating your choice of entree, together with payment of $30, payable to “Pablo Pastrana,” by May 1 at the address listed in the form. As always, please make the reservation sooner rather than later, as space is limited. Feel free to forward this information to colleagues, students, or friends who would like to join us.
The IMANA banquet provides an opportunity to meet colleagues working on the Iberian Middle Ages, recognize the recipient of La corónica book award, acknowledge great work in Ibero-medieval studies, propose ideas for the 2020 congress, and more.
Please keep in mind that all sessions and events for this year’s congress are included in the program, which you will have received by now. If not, a PDF version is available at https://wmich.edu/medievalcongress/events.
